Since David’s live e-training workshop there has been a real impetus within our Early Years team. After David presented his intervention workshop to our learning support staff, we were able to accurately and holistically assess gaps in our students’ mathematical knowledge and create an intervention program to address them. It is thanks to his expertise that our students who previously struggled with math are now thriving confidently, and solving problems they would otherwise not have been able to do. We are looking forward to expanding this program based on the concepts David has taught us. Even though I have over 20 years of teaching experience, it was refreshing to learn from him and see how much more was possible. He has energized how we as a school approach maths.

 

It has been eye-opening having David present various materials and especially Numicon, and connect this to the stages of student learning. His workshops meet teachers where they are and he quickly and expertly adapts to their needs.
